We need to make gains in this chamber.

Michigan Democrats have picked up five seats in the state house over the last two elections and are five seats away from winning a majority. The new state house map presents continued opportunities for Democrats to protect key gains and flip five vulnerable Republican-held seats during the 2022 midterms after falling just short in 2020.

We need to make gains in this chamber.

Democrats flipped five seats when the Michigan State Senate was last up for reelection in 2018. The new state senate map presents many more opportunities than last decade’s Republican gerrymandered maps and should allow Democrats to protect key gains from 2018 and to flip five vulnerable Republican-held seats this November.
