Swing Left District Funds

With early support, Democrats can win back the U.S. House!

Democrats lost the House by just 6,675 votes in 2022, and will only need to net five seats to regain the majority. This fight is winnable, so we're intentionally investing early in Swing Districts where our collective efforts can make the biggest impact.


Together, by supporting the most competitive Swing District races—now through Election Day—we can defeat MAGA extremism and flip the House!


We’ll keep a close eye on new data, including polling and fundraising data, and work in close coordination with our partners on the ground to ensure your grassroots donation is going where it’s needed most.


Your donation will be split between the following candidates:

When you donate, 100% of your contribution will go to Democrats running in the most competitive U.S. House races. We'll update these recommendations monthly so you can continue to invest when and where your dollars can make the most impact.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am not a federal contractor.
  5. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  6. Your contribution to a nominee fund will be held in escrow by ActBlue until a Democratic candidate is nominated in the congressional district for which you selected. Your contribution will be forwarded to the Democratic nominee within ten days of their nomination. In the unlikely event that no nominee is selected, your contribution will revert to ActBlue and will be considered as a contribution to ActBlue.

Donations in support of the Win Back the House Fund will be held by Swing Left until May 14th, 2024. On May 14th, 2024, Swing Left will allocate all funds equally among all House districts that are rated as “Lean Democratic”, “Lean Republican” or “Toss-Up” by Cook Political Report as of 5/14/24. If there is a Democratic nominee already declared, Swing Left will distribute the corresponding funds within 10 days. If not, Swing Left will distribute the corresponding funds within 10 days of a Democratic nominee being declared. If no Democratic nominee is declared the allocated funds will be reallocated among the other districts that meet the criteria above. If no districts meet the criteria above on May 14th, 2024, the donated funds will go to Swing Left.
