We need to make gains in this chamber.
Georgia Democrats have made major progress in recent years, flipping 13 seats over the last two elections. Georgia Republicans have responded to growing Democratic strength in the state with an extreme gerrymander, which makes flipping the state house much more difficult in the short term. With the majority out of reach in 2022, Democrats must support candidates in key districts to both protect gains from the last two cycles and begin to chip away at Republicans’ 14-seat majority.
