What you need to know
We’re keeping a close eye on new data, including polling and fundraising figures, and working closely with our partners to keep this fund focused on the closest races where grassroots dollars are needed most. Help stop the spread of MAGA extremism by supporting this week's top races on the path to securing a federal Democratic trifecta and building power at the state level.
Where your money goes
PRES
Kamala Harris
Hold
Kamala Harris is running to expand the promise of our democracy for all Americans and to defeat Donald Trump’s extreme vision for America. If Democrats lose the White House in 2024, a second Trump term would see the GOP pursue priorities such as Project 2025 and a nationwide abortion ban, which we can't let happen.
AZ-SEN
Ruben Gallego
Hold
Ruben Gallego is a current member of the U.S. House running against Kari Lake for the Senate seat vacated by Kyrsten Sinema. Losing this seat to a Republican would directly shift the balance of power for Democrats in the U.S. Senate. Kari Lake is a MAGA zealot backed by Donald Trump who supports stronger restrictions on abortion and spreads conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.
MT-SEN
Jon Tester
Hold
Investing in Jon Tester’s campaign in Trump-favorable Montana is critical for keeping this competitive race on the map. Tester won his first election for the Senate in 2006 with a margin of victory of less than 1 percent and has maintained his seat in a state that is trending increasingly Republican (Biden lost the state by over 15 points in 2020). Tester's ability to hold a Senate seat in deeply red Montana since 2007 speaks to his authenticity and connection to the state's voters.
NV-SEN
Jacky Rosen
Hold
Jacky Rosen is defending her seat against Sam Brown, who supports the far-right agenda of banning abortion even in the case of rape or incest. Abortion will play a major role in this race because voters will also get the chance to vote for the Nevada Right to Abortion Initiative, which Jacky Rosen supports, on the November ballot.
OR-05
Janelle Bynum
Flip
Janelle Bynum is a member of the Oregon House of Representatives and has been instrumental in passing legislation that invests in mental health care and expands youth voter engagement. Her opponent Lori Chavez-DeRemer backs an extreme, near-total ban on abortion and refuses to admit that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election.
Swing Left Georgia State Fund
Georgia Democrats have steadily gained seats in the state house since 2014, but remain outnumbered 102-78 by a Republican majority. With a goal of making the chamber competitive before the 2030 redistricting cycle—in order to give Democrats a seat at the table when new voting maps are drawn—it’s critical to continue investing in state-level gains this November.
