Canvassing trip to Virginia Beach!
Join Swing Left on a free overnight trip to knock on doors in Virginia! We'll be talking to voters in SD-22 to make sure they are supporting Senator Aaron Rouse and Democrats up and down the ballot and have a plan to get out and vote by Election Day in partnership with Swing Left GWU, the American University College Democrats, the Georgetown College Democrats, the GW College Democrats, the Howard University College Democrats, and Sister District.

The bus will depart from Union Station in Washington DC at 8am on Saturday, November 4 for Virginia Beach. We will canvass from approximately 12pm-6pm on Saturday and Sunday and return to DC by 9:30pm on Sunday, November 5. Swing Left will provide bus transportation, meals, and overnight lodging and the campaign will provide carpools with local drivers within Virginia Beach.

Having face-to-face conversations with voters is the most effective way to increase voter turnout and ensure Democratic victories in Virginia! Together, we can protect the Democratic state senate majority and flip the state house in Virginia to block Governor Youngkin's extreme MAGA agenda. By joining this exciting & fun canvassing trip with other college students from across DC, you will make a big impact on this election and the future of progressive policies in Virginia!
